  1. Gong Seung Yeon


    Gong Seung Yeon is one rookie actress to watch as her star continues to shine. She has steadily been building up her repertoire since her debut in 2012 and has taken on roles in successful dramas such as Heard it Through the Grapevine. Currently playing the role of Lee Bang Won's wife, Lady Min Da Kyung (later Queen Wongyeong), we are excited to see how her character would aid her husband in his ambition and how Gong Seung Yeon herself will grow as an actress this year!

    If Yoon Kyun Sang seems familiar, that's because he's been in a string of back-to-back hits such as Pinocchio, The Time We Were Not in Love and Six Flying Dragons. Relatively new to the industry, his role as the goofy and lovable swordsman Moo Hyul in Six Flying Dragons has won him a legion of swooning fans that are sure to follow him to his new projects.

    Lee Min Jung's return to the small screen is highly anticipated. Having been away from the public eye since 2014, she is now a proud mama of a healthy baby boy, Lee Joon Hoo! She is set to come back in the upcoming comical fantasy drama, Please Come Back, Mister, alongside other big names such as Rain and Oh Yeon Seo.

    Similar to Lee Min Jung, there's been a lot of buzz around Rain's return to K-dramaland. While he was not on a hiatus, he was busy last year filming and promoting in China and has not appeared in a Korean drama since My Lovely Girl in 2014. He is set to play the male lead in Please Come Back, Mister who gets a second lease of life after dying from overwork.

    One of the most recognizable faces in the Korean entertainment scene, Kim Soo Hyun is surely no stranger to fans around the world. His turn as Do Min Joon in My Love From The Star captured the hearts of so many of us, and we're really looking forward to another memorable role from him in 2016!

    Jung Yong Hwa is one of the most credible singer-turned-actors out there, and has starred in a string of notable dramas since his acting debut as Kang Shin Woo in You're Beautiful. Though he was a victim of Second Lead Syndrome in You're Beautiful and didn't manage to have a happy ending with Park Shin Hye, we can't wait to root for him again in a new drama!

    Hwang Jung Eum has had a wonderful year in 2015 and she wrapped it up with a surprise announcement of her upcoming nuptials to former professional golfer, Lee Young Don. While her agency reps assure fans that she will resume her activities soon after the wedding, you can still catch her in Endless Love where she plays an ambitious woman seeking to avenge her murdered mother!

    Yoo Seung Ho has lots to be happy about. His dramas after his military discharge have won both public and critical praise and he has made the smooth transition from child star to credible male lead.
